HPSA operates its take back programs in provinces with regulations that mandate the safe collection and disposal of unwanted medications and used medical sharps. As part of its mandate, HPSA develops plans and annual reports outlining program performance and any additional obligations outlined by the regulated provinces.

Provinces not found below currently do not have stewardship regulations for consumer health products.
