HPSA is governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives of companies that produce consumer health products and independent individuals with specific expertise .  Directors represent a diverse group of the health products industry that oversees and provides direction for the HPSA stewardship programs under provincial regulations for medications and medical sharps products.
