POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate, Member Engagement supports the Manager, Member Engagement in the development and implementation of effective member recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention strategies.
DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in creation and execution of engagement strategies to provide responsive member support and foster positive member relationships.
- Handle day-to-day inquiries related to membership (policies, reporting processes, and compliance).
- Provide clear guidance to members on submission processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Support new member recruitment strategy development and recruitment efforts by identifying potential members, assessing eligibility, and facilitating their onboarding.
- Track relevant updates and changes to identify new obligated companies and share findings with the team.
- Assist in organizing webinars, workshops, and other initiatives to educate members on regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Assist in drafting and updating policy guides, compliance checklists, and other resources for members.
- Support the Management of Member Committees: Assist in scheduling, organizing, and documenting meetings for ad hoc member committees.
- Ensure member records are accurate and up to date within the platforms and assist with data maintenance.
- Coordinate with the Communications Team to support the planning and delivery of member webinars and presentations.
- Prepare reports on member engagement, compliance status, and performance metrics
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary education in business, environmental science, communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, stakeholder engagement.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with members and stakeholders.
- Experience drafting reports, procedures, or process documentation.
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a focus on customer needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
